ZOOM SSH-6 Stereo Shotgun microphone capsule

This microphone capsule is used with ZOOM's H5 or H6 field recorder. The difference of this microphone compared to the microphones that are supplied as standard is the range. Just like the SGH-6 shotgun microphone, the SSH-6 can also record sounds from further away, but in stereo sound.

Direction characteristic

In addition to the super cardioid capsule, the SSH also has a bidirectional microphone that can also pick up the sounds from left and right. Both signals can therefore be set individually. This way you can decide whether you want to hear more or less ambient sounds. With the included windshield, weather sounds such as wind noise can be filtered.

Applications

The field recorder is often mounted on the camera and with a shotgun microphone you can still record good quality sound from a distance.
