Zoom XYH-6
The ZOOM XYH-6 is a microphone capsule for the ZOOM H5 and ZOOM H6 recorders. The XY-microphone technique is ideal for a breed stereobeeld with a heldere, powerful middenafbeelding. There are a lot of technical things used for all sorts of live opnames. The capsule is wide and H5 or H6 is used with two opposite signals, high, one-way microphones.
The ZOOM XYH-6 has a cardioid opnamepatroon, more than enough for signals coming directly from the front and less enough for signals coming from behind of van opzij. With 14.6 mm, it is a microphone with the largest membranes that could be ordered from a portable recorder.
