The ZOOM H1n is a handheld field recording system that allows professional audio recordings to be made of very high quality. The recorder has two built-in condenser microphones in X/Y stereo configuration. An additional microphone can also be connected with TRS 3.5 mm jack.

Application

Whether you want to record a podcast, nature sounds, music or movie audio, the versatility of this recorder makes it all possible. The recorder fits two AAA batteries that can record continuously for up to 10 hours. Furthermore, an AC adaptor can be connected, which is to be ordered separately.

The recorder is easy to use. The Record button is located in a central position on the recorder and there are several options for rewind, recording speed, pause and repeat. Furthermore, you can adjust the sampling frequency, turn the resolution, the low-cut filter on and off and have a built-in limiter.

Recording files

The recordings can be stored on a micro SD or Micro SDHC card (not included) in WAV or MP3 up to a maximum of 24-bit/96kHz sound quality.
