Sennheiser MD 431-II
The MD 431 II has a rich history in both live sound and studio recording. It is also an excellent choice for snare and percussion capture, for a clear, high impact sound. This second-generation design enhances the original with a new ultra-rugged steel body and a refined steel mesh grille, as well as a shock-absorbing capsule and hum-compensating coil. The result is a highly versatile microphone with a sound sought after by engineers, artists, broadcasters and more around the world.
Many functions and well built
A new recessed noiseless on / off magnetic reed switch gives you the ability to instantly mute your microphone when not in use, avoiding unwanted audio recording at any time. The switch can also be locked in the 'ON' position to prevent accidental performance drops. The MD 431 II offers high feedback rejection, as well as ultra-low operation and mechanical noise. In addition, with a custom frequency response and 2 kHz presence boost, you can experience transparent audio playback with excellent clarity.
