Sennheiser K6 power module
The Sennheiser K6 powering module is the heart of the professional modular microphone system and can be powered either by its internal 'AA' size 1.5 V battery or by 12 - 48 V phantom power.
The K6 can be combined with different condenser microphone heads to provide a wide variety of polar patterns. Omni-directional, cardioid, super-cardioid, short-gun, long-gun ... the Sennheiser K6-series offers maximum flexibility for the configuration. Many lavalier microphones can be used in combination with the K6 power module. Mounted on a fishpole, or directly on your camera, the K6 Series microphone offers a high quality reproduction and infallible reliability.
Use of K6 phantom or battery power
Reporting, debates, interviews, public broadcasting equipment postproduction - with extreme low internal noise, a high SPL and resistant to wind, makes this microphone extremely suitable for speech.
Also available
Apart from the K6 phantom or battery power, you can also choose to use only phantom power. This can be achieved with the K6-P powering module, which can be ordered separately.
