Saramonic Condenser Shotgun Microphone SR-M500
The SR-M500 from Saramonic is a compact cardioid stereo condenser microphone. With the SR-M500 you can record the total ambient sound in high quality and (speech) sounds from a few meters away are still clearly audible. The windshields ensure that you can also take a silent recording outside. In addition to a supplied hot shoe connector, there is also a 5/8 "internal thread with a 3/8" internal thread adapter at the bottom, which can be used on several accessories.
Application
The SR-M500 is indispensable for studio recordings of, for example, drums, acoustic instruments and live performances. Place the Twin Mount of the SR-M500 on the hot shoe of a camera and then connect the microphones to the camera with XLR cables. The SR-M500 works on phantom power (24V or 48V).
It is also possible to use both one and two microphones, which can be set in different positions to capture the sound in multiple ways. Such as: side by side, X-Y mode or ORTF mode. These positions are easy to perform using the instructions on the Twin Mount.
