The IK Multimedia iKlip A / V is a smartphone holder with preamplifier, which makes it possible to connect your professional microphone to your iPhone, iPod touch or Android device. Phones up to 54 x 91 mm can be mounted in the holder. The amplifier has an XLR female input, into which you can insert the XLR male plug of your (wireless) microphone. The preamp can use + 48V phantom power or be powered by two AA batteries. The volume of the microphone is also adjustable.

Use

This holder is specially designed for the YouTubers, vloggers, webcasters and filmmakers who want to record high-quality audio and video with their smartphone. Just connect the double 3.5mm TRRS mini-jack audio cable to the phone and connect the microphone cable. The phone stand can also be unscrewed, so that a camera can be mounted on the shoe. Furthermore, one can find a thread at the bottom with which it can be placed on a tripod. Finally, headphones can be connected to enable real-time monitoring of the sound.
