IK iRig Pre HD microphone interface
The IK iRig Pre HD is a compact and ultra-light high-definition microphone interface for iPhone, iPad, Mac and PC and very lightweight. Ideal for musician, podcaster, journalist, videographer or vlogger to produce in the highest possible quality.
The interface has an XLR microphone input with professional pre-amplification, phantom power and gain control, which is also optically supported by the multi-color LED. Thanks to the 24-bit / 96 kHz format, high-resolution recording is always possible on Mac / PC, but also on iPhone 7 and 8 and iPad. A headphone output is also integrated with volume control and direct monitoring switch for latency-free monitoring.
The iRig-PreHD is powered partly by the USB bus and partly by 2 AA batteries (included). These are required for 48V phantom power from condenser microphones.
The iRig Pre HD works with all iOS devices with a Lightning connector, including devices without a headphone jack. The included Lightning cable allows plug-and-play with Apple iOS devices, while the USB cable connects Mac and PC computers and allows recording anytime, anywhere with a dynamic or condenser microphone with phantom power (batteries ). The iRig Pre HD delivers exceptional sound quality with a resolution of up to 96 kHz / 24 bit and a full, flat frequency response from 20 Hz to 20 kHz (+/- 1.5 dB). A good choice in professional microphones for recording instruments, sound for media, video, speech, interviews, documentaries and more.
