Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 audio-interface 3rd gen
The third-generation Focusrite Scarlett 2i2, has been vastly improved over its predecessor. With this external sound card it is possible to record with 2 channels (24-bit/192kHz) with an improved dynamic range of 111 dB. This gives you even more headroom and the microphone signals can be amplified crystal clear thanks to the high-quality pre-amps. You can connect XLR and 1/4" jack thanks to the combo inputs and record microphone, instrument and line signals. The 48V phantom power makes it possible to record condenser microphones.
The new 'AIR' function
With this new function you clarify the input signal, making recordings sound even better. You can also connect the monitor speakers in a balanced way, so that you do not suffer from interference (caused by other electronic devices). In addition to monitors, it is also possible to connect headphones and monitor your input signal without latency (delay) thanks to the 'direct monitor' function. Due to the compact and sturdy design, you can take this interface with you everywhere and you can easily connect it via USB-C to a PC or Mac.
