The Boya UHF Duo lavalier Microphone Wireless BY-WM8 Pro-K1 is a wireless Microphone set, which is ideal for interviews, ENG/EFP, movie productions and more. The BY-WM8 Pro-K1 is an upgrade of the wireless duo microphone sets BY-WM6 and BY-WM8. For instance, the Pro version has a much lower distortion rate, which makes the sound less oversteered. The sound quality has therefore improved considerably. In addition, the set is lighter in weight.

Application

The interviewee carries the microphone and transmitter, where the latter can be attached to the belt using the included clip. The receiver connects you to your camera using a cable. To be able to mount the receiver to your camera, the receiver has a hotshoe connection. This connector has a 1/4" Female thread, so the receiver can also be mounted on a tripod. The receiver also has a headphone output, so you can listen to the recorded sound in real time.

Both the transmitter and receiver operate on two AA batteries (not included). This allows you to use the microphone set up to 6 hours long. The BY-WM8 Pro-K1 has a maximum range of 100 meters, if there are no obstructions between the transmitter and receiver. In addition, you can also add a second station later, see optional accessories. The BY-WM8 Pro-K1 can be used with DSLR cameras, camcorders and audio recorders. In addition, you can easily connect your mobile phone to the receiver using a smartphone adapter (see optional accessories).
