The BOYA Duo Clip-on Lavalier Microphone BY-M2D for iOS is a double omnidirectional tie clip microphone with Lightning adapter. The microphone records high-quality sounds, making it an ideal accessory for interviews, vlogs or any other situation where two voices need to be recorded, both indoors and on location. You can easily connect the microphone to iOS devices such as iPhone, iPad and iPod using the included Apple MFi-certified Lightning connector. The BOYA BY-M2D is compatible with iOS 8.0 or later.

The lavalier microphone has an omnidirectional directional characteristic. This means that a voice is recorded around the microphone. The signal-to-noise ratio of 76dB ensures that little noise is registered. In addition, you can use the included windshields so that unwanted noises such as wind are not recorded. The length of the cable (microphone to TRS) is 6 meters, so you can also make recordings at a greater distance from your device.

Lightning adapter cable
The 3.5mm TRS-to-Lightning adapter cable allows you to connect the microphone to the Lightning port of your iOS device. This adapter makes the BY-M2D multi-usable, because it also allows you to connect other microphones and accessories with TRS output to your iOS device (for example, the BY-RX8 and BY-MM1).
Batteries are unnecessary; power is supplied automatically when you connect the microphone to an iOS device. You can safely and easily take the whole thing with you in the included artificial leather storage bag.

Application BOYA BY-M2D
You can use the duo microphone with any apps that normally use the internal microphone of your iPhone or iPad. Consider, for example, the standard camera app or Voice Memos app. To use the BY-M2D, place the windshield on the microphones and attach it to your clothing using the clips. Then attach the lavalier microphone to the Lightning adapter. Finally, plug the adapter into your iOS device and start the desired app to capture your recording.
