The SR-PMIC2 from Saramonic is a compact cardioid stereo condenser microphone. This is very suitable for vocals and voice recordings. The microphone is ideal for the DSLR camera and camcorders. With the SR-PMIC2 you ensure that the general ambient sound is recorded in very high quality, even at lower frequencies. The included windscreen allows you to make a silent and smooth recording (also outdoors).

The SR-PMIC2 is a stereo microphone, which means it contains two microphones. This ensures that when the recording is listened to via a stereo system, the difference is audible from both sides. In addition to a hot shoe connector, there is also a 1/4 ”female thread on the bottom and the microphone has a built-in anti-shock mount.

Application
Attach the microphone to the hot shoe of a camera or camcorder, then insert the 3.5mm plug into the camera. The SR-PMIC1 functions without a power supply, as it does not contain a battery. Never forget to turn the microphone on or off again; just turn on the camera!
The sound is then received cardioid. This means that sounds are mainly picked up from the front and much of the sound is blocked from the rear. This gives the sound more detail and character, so that (voice) sound from a few meters away is still audible. The built-in button allows you to switch a low-cut filter on and off to filter out disturbing low-frequency sounds for a clear sound recording.
