This Rycote Windjammer is a high-quality synthetic deadcat / fur cover, which offers the highest possible protection against extreme wind noise. When using a wind jammer mounted over a windscreen, up to 50 dB wind noise attenuation can be achieved. This allows for excellent standard audio recordings to be produced.
Maintenance coat
To be fully effective, it is important that the Windjammer's coat remains in top condition. Use the supplied hairbrush for maintenance. The windjammer is made of material specially designed and manufactured for this purpose. And therefore has virtually no adverse effect on High Frequency. Equipped with a drawstring and a closure for a good and easy installation.
