RODE filmmaker kit

The RODE filmmaker kit is all you need for wireless filming, with to start shooting video wirelessly, including a receiver, transmitter and broadcast-grade lavalier microphone.

Transmitter and receiver

RODELink represents the next generation of digital wireless systems. Using a Series II 2.4GHz digital transmission with 128-bit encryption, it is able to constantly monitor and hop between frequencies to maintain the strongest possible signal level at a range of up to 100 metres (over 100 yards). This ensures that the audio is equally reliable as it would be when a cable is connected.

Ease of use

You can mount the RX-CAM receiver on the “shoe” of your camera (video or SLR) and click the lightweight TX-Belt transmitter to your belt. Next you attache the lavalier to your clothing and you can start recording. The OLED-screen of the receiver provides volume information and battery status of both the receiver as well as the transmitter. It also provides the chosen channel.

Omnidirectional lavalier microphone

RODE has included an omnidirectional lavalier microphone in the kit to provide the highest possible audio reproduction quality.

Power supply

Both the transmitter as well as the receiver operate on two AA batteries (not included) or with MicroUSB connection. You can choose from eight different channels, which makes a combination of multiple sets possible.
