The Blink500 B2 from Saramonic is a wireless transmitter set with built-in battery. This system consists of two transmitters and a receiver. The Blink500 B2 can be used with both smartphones and cameras, with the included TRRS and TRS cable. A microphone is built into the transmitters, clip the transmitter onto a piece of clothing and you can immediately start recording! In addition, the transmitters can be used as a handheld microphone, because it is a microphone and transmitter in one. Lavalier microphones are also included for both transmitters.

Technical specifications
The powerful transmitter and receiver use the 2.4 GHz signal, for a range of 50m in open field (up to 30m in practice). The built-in 400 mAh li-ion batteries provide a battery life of five hours. You can charge the batteries by connecting a cable to the USB-C connector. A USB-C cable is included for both transmitters and the receiver, to connect to a USB-A port on a computer or wall charger. Charging takes about 1.5 hours. For situations where you cannot wait for this, it is also possible to immediately use the transmitters and receiver again when they are being charged (for example using a power bank). There is a clamp on the receiver which is also suitable for camera hotshoes.

Application
Looking for a powerful, compact system that can be used universally, go for the Blink500 B2. The transmitters and receiver are extremely compact, but offer a very good sound. There are no complicated settings; after a single pairing, switch on the transmitters and receiver and they are immediately ready for use. On the channels, the volume is adjustable with the + and - buttons. The metal microphone capsules and supplied pop caps provide a beautiful and reliable sound inside and outside. The Blink500 B2 records the sound from both microphones on one track. The recorded sound from the microphones is therefore always audible on both channels, both on the left and right channels.
