BOYA BY-M1000 Large Diaphragm Condenser Microphone
The BOYA BY-M1000 is a condenser microphone with a large membrane, which is essential for sound recording in your studio. This BOYA microphone is very well suited for recording vocals, instruments, podcasts, voice overs or just for recording in your home studio.
The BY-M1000 has a pop filter with which you can filter loud speech sounds (such as 'S' and 'P') and other noises. In addition, this filter protects your microphone from saliva, for example when taking saliva. The anti-shock bracket prevents vibration-related noises from being recorded in the audio recording. The condenser microphone also has a low-cut filter that you can use to filter out low-frequency noise (such as noise and background noise). The BY-M1000 also has a pad switch to prevent loud sounds from interfering with your recording.
Target feature
For an extremely reliable sound recording, you can turn the microphone in the holder by 360 degrees. You can also determine the desired directional pattern yourself:
- Cardioid: picks up sounds from the front of the microphone. Suitable for sound recordings of vocals and acoustic instruments (guitar, piano, etc.).
- Omnidirectional: records sounds from all directions equally. Suitable for applications where sound has to be recorded from several sides, e.g. B. from a singer or choir with an accompanying volume.
- Bidirectional: picks up noises from the front and back equally. Suitable for situations in which people face each other, for example during interviews or presentations.
The BY-M1000 has a tilt bracket with 3/8 "and 5/8" internal thread. In this way you can place the condenser microphone on a tripod (also on tripods with 1/4 "threaded connection via an optional adapter). The condenser microphone works on the basis of phantom power: 24 V or 48 V. The supplied XLR cable supplies this power supply The metal housing for high reliability.
Application
Place the unit on a tripod to use the condenser microphone. Then use the XLR cable to connect your audio device or other electronic device to the BOYA BY-M1000. The microphone is now powered directly, so you don't have to turn the device on or off separately. There is a slider on the back with which you can set the desired directional characteristic. Use the slider on the left side of the case to turn the low-cut filter on and off. The button on the right controls the pad switch.
